This baby took way more time than I thought it would... working on some shit, trying to find, will take quite a while to get there. Painted as a gift for a buddy... ;)

 Did this in one night, a couple months ago....really simple, trying to get away from over refined shit....

Another guy painted from a doodle.... I swear I will spend more time in the future thinking out things like lighting and background.....

Bigfoot

This comes from a middle of the night feeling sorry for myself and my lack of imagination. Finished pretty quick, not a ton of refinement, but I am enjoying a little faster pace for some paintings.

Avapocalypse

Painting I started over a year ago.... quit for a while, finished it this week. As always, would do a ton different, but slowly working towards something, just not sure what that is.....

Whoo WHOO!

Finally feel like we are getting somewhere! Been painting for a while with not major breaks and I think the next couple guys will be pretty cool. Did this for an erotic art show, not stoked on the grass, would have liked to had time to put in some insects but just over the whole painting at this point. Angie, my wife is the model.....

Penis

Squeezed this out of a new tube of Cad Orange..... I consider it a fortuitous omen for sure. I have been trying to take better care of my pallet lately, keeping it as clean as possible, w/o wasting paint.... Next pallet I make will last much longer I think -learn as you go!

Finished

The photo doesn't do it justice, Jabba is more prevalent and there is a staircase and door in the upper right corner.... This was for the Hope Gallery Star Wars show, painted in about 3 weeks, everything else went on hold. I was trying to mimic the Elvgren-ish style of pinup... feeling like I am at least progressing in my technical skills, though in hindsight the pose is a little rigid....

Got some pieces in the oven, but waiting to post till further along..... Here is one I gotta put on the back burner for a couple weeks....

Done in oils over the last couple months, from a sketch..... just have to say "finished" sometimes.

Drawing

I do LOTS of drawings for tattoos, paintings, illustrations and just for fun.... I should post more, but here are two I did in the last week...... FYI I know that the helmet would look different if it were greek or roman, but it is a fantasy drawing so :P Am going to use the female sketch for a painting, I believe.....

Did this to get back on my painting feet, also to try and loosen up... learned ALOT.... these are a progression, I have one more session before I am finished... [ Update: Top photo is finished version.... not super stoked, but happy to be done!]

Surly!

Here is some coaster Jon Sweet and I did for the Surly contest.... I have no idea why we weren't picked! Also the label for Surly's upcoming Smoke beer, I inked, then finished on the computer.... I should really post some of the sketches too....
